Individual Therapy for Women

Support for every phase of womanhood

“Being a woman is hard work.” - Maya Angelou

Being a woman, in the 21st century, IS hard work! As girls become women, it can feel like we’re expected to have it all and do it all, with a smile on our face and a bounce in our step.

This isn’t realistic or healthy for anybody! The expectations we set for ourselves, the expectations others set for us, along with everything else we have going on - because, let’s face it, there’s ALWAYS something else going on - is just too much for us to carry.

Whether you’re experiencing anxiety or depression, a perinatal mental health disorder, feeling burnt out by life, working through past or present trauma, figuring out your future, or need someone to remind you of how amazing you are, I’m here to listen and support you as we navigate the challenges of womanhood together.

I know from experience, though, what it feels like to wonder “is there something going on with me or is what I’m feeling normal?” I also know that, as women, we take care of everyone else first and put ourselves at the bottom of our to-do list.

The thing is, YOU deserve to be healthy. YOU deserve to be happy. YOU deserve to know if something IS going on with you or if what you’re feeling is typical.

And taking care of your needs, including your mental health needs, will only make it easier for you to meet the needs of those you love.

Kids or no kids, the reality is YOU ARE BUSY…and therapy can sometimes feel like one more commitment taking a bite out of your precious time.

Choosing to participate in therapy via telehealth can eliminate some of the barriers to getting help.

Appointments can be scheduled around your life. Is scheduling an appointment easiest for you during a lunch break? Great! Do you want to talk while your child is participating in extracurriculars? Let’s do it! Baby is napping and it’s time for your appointment? Meeting via telehealth means baby can stay asleep while you get the support you need.
